Quartzite

Quartzite is a very hard and dense metamorphic stone. Starting out as sandstone, it changes form due to prolonged exposure to heat and pressure. These properties make it ideal to use as paving material. Dense and durable, it has a non-slip surface, even when wet, that requires minimal maintenance. Quartzite has a rustic appearance with beautiful, natural variations in colour and texture. We offer this stone in the Natural style that gives colour variations of ochre and grey, while our Grey Gum has more subtle variations in cool tones of eucalypt grey and green.
